Mercruiser 3.0 starting issue sound Replacing the starter resolved
Mercruiser 3 0 Starter Removal. Mercruiser 3.0 Engine Starter seems to be only one bolt on the underside which I have removed and its still firmly in place.
I tried to jump the solenoid on the starter to see if it would crank and nothing happened so im assuming that the motor needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I have a 1992 Bayliner Capri with a Mercruiser 3.0 Alpha One engine
